Function and use of Wuxi Health QR Code

I. Function

For the convenience of the general public, after being authorized by the Public Security Department, in addition to following the Wuxi Police Online WeChat public account, you can also log in through Wuxi Release WeChat account.

There is a shortcut for the code in the Wuxi Release WeChat account. Showing the code for travel after applying for the code on a voluntary basis when entering and leaving residential areas (villages), densely populated public places and taking public transport.

II. Target population and application methods

Wuxi Health QR Code is a verification used for entering and leaving residential areas (villages) or densely populated public places, taking public transport, conducting epidemiological investigations after an epidemic outbreak, or reporting health conditions of people who are quarantined at home or at centralized places. Permanent residents and people who come out of Wuxi can apply for the code according to their travel demands on a voluntary basis. People who came to Wuxi within 14 days are advised to take the initiative and apply for it. Applicants should fill in information such as identity information, travel history and health status truthfully.

The method of application:

(I) Apply via WeChat accounts

2. Filling in information

Fill in your name, document number, phone number, address and  identification photo on this page. [Photo/WeChat account: wuxifao]

3. Generating Wuxi Health QR Code

When the applicant meets the requirements a green code will be issued. The code can be stored in the mobile phone and presented during code verification. [Photo/WeChat account: wuxifao]

When the applicant needs to be placed under medical observation or home quarantine, a red code will be issued, which means restricted travel. [Photo/WeChat account: wuxifao]

During the period of intensive medical observation or home observation, people holding the red code shall make a daily health report on time, and the code will be converted to a green one after meeting the conditions for cancellation. [Photo/WeChat account: wuxifao]

(II) Delegating applications

For those who are unfamiliar with online operations or do not have terminal equipment such as smart phones, they can entrust others to apply online, print out a paper code, and carry a valid ID for inspection.

III. Method of use

When entering residential areas (villages), densely populated public areas and taking public transport, you must show the code for the health check.

In case of entering residential areas (village), residents (including tenants) in the community shall adopt the method of "body temperature measurement + code scanning"; visitors and other external personnel shall adopt the method of "temperature measurement + code scanning + registration". All people are allowed to leave residential areas after scanning the code;

In cases of entering schools, hospitals, airports, train stations, shopping malls, supermarkets, farmer's markets, tourist attractions, hotels, branches of financial institutions and other densely populated public places, the method of "temperature measurement + code scanning" is adopted. All people are allowed to leave the above places after scanning their code;

In case of taking public transport including buses, subways, special tourist lines, and long and medium-distance passenger transport, the method of "temperature measurement + code scanning" is adopted. In case of taking a taxi or car hailing online, passengers shall scan the code before moving;

People who hold a paper Wuxi Health QR Code must carry valid ID card with themselves for inspection;

People without the code are not allowed to enter a community (village), crowded public places or take public transport.
