WND pledges solid efforts on peaking carbon emissions, carbon-neutrality

Wuxi National Hi-tech District was invited to attend the "Emission Peak and Carbon Neutrality" Summit on Sci-tech and Industrial Transformation held by the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology on June 8.

At the meeting, the Torch Center along with 12 national high-tech zones in Wuxi, Suzhou, Changzhou, Xi'an and other cities published a joint declaration on actions to be taken to achieve carbon emission peaking and carbon neutrality goals .

Unswervingly following the path of green and low-carbon development and giving priority to ecology, the WND established Jiangsu province's first zero-carbon technology industrial park this year. During the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), carbon emissions reduction efforts will be intensified with the support of more advanced green technology, a green industrial system, and an improved green development mechanism.
