The Wuxi National Hi-tech District will become the headquarters of iSoftStone Information Technology Co, according to a deal inked in Shenzhen on May 27.
In March, iSoftStone established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Honghu Wanlian (Jiangsu) Technology Development Co, which focuses on the research and development and industrialization of intelligent internet of things operating systems in WND. The initial registered capital of the company is 100 million yuan ($14.85 million), and the subsequent capital will be increased to 500 million yuan.
Honghu Wanlian (Jiangsu) Technology Development Co was listed in the first batch of Huawei's OpenHarmony ecosystem enabling partners. Under the guidance of the Open Atom Open Source Foundation, it launched the industry's first rich device operating system, SwanLinkOS, and passed the Open Atom OpenHarmony compatibility test. The system has been applied to prototypes of shipboard terminals and anti-epidemic products.
Liu Tianwen, chairman of iSoftStone, said Honghu Wanlian (Jiangsu) Technology Development Co is the result of iSoftStone's years of work in technical development and digital application innovation.
Liu expected that cooperation with WND, a leading district in IoT development, could accelerate the integration of OpenHarmony and the IoT industry to expand IoT applications.
