Wuxi National Hi-tech District hosted an online matching meeting with 12 enterprises with high growth potential on June 16.
The 12 enterprises are based in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Xi'an, mainly working in emerging industries such as internet of things, integrated circuits, and biomedicine.

Gu Guodong, deputy director of the management committee of WND, said he expected these enterprises to choose WND for further development.
Gu explained the good location, industrial planning, development potential and future plans of WND in his speech. He said that the district has continued to optimize its innovation and entrepreneurship ecology for years. In 2021, WND ranked among the top 20 national high-tech zones in the country and ranked second in the comprehensive evaluation of innovation-driven high-quality development in the province's high-tech zones. The district was also shortlisted among the first batch of 10 national high-tech zones to pilot the construction of technological and financial innovation service centers.
According to Gu, the rapid development of strategic emerging industrial clusters such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, big data and cloud computing has driven the output value of high-tech industries in the district to over 380 billion yuan ($56.57 billion).
