Wuxi National Hi-tech District hosted a forum to communicate with key foreign-funded enterprises on June 17.

Executives from enterprises including SK Hynix, AstraZeneca, Murata, Sumitomo Mitsui, Sharp Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Leyou New Energy of LG Chem, Alps, Sony Digital, Perkins, Seagate, Zhonghan Technology Co, Bosch Powertrain, Bollhoff, and Hellermanntyton attended the forum and shared their thoughts on development in WND.

Cui Rongguo, Party secretary of WND, said that this year marks the 30th anniversary of WND. During its three decades of development, foreign-funded enterprises have grown along with the district and played an important role in spurring the district's economic growth, opening up, scientific and technological innovation and industrial transformation.

Cui said he expected foreign-funded enterprises to continue to develop with WND to promote economic recovery, build more complete industrial chains, and develop WND into an international community.

Gu urged related government departments to continue to optimize the business environment, focus on the real needs of enterprises to establish and improve the coordination and resolution mechanism to solve issues faced by enterprises, and help enterprises take full advantage of favorable policies.
