WND company makes debut on STAR market

Wuxi Taclink Optoelectronics Technology Co Ltd, located in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District, was successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's sci-tech innovation board, also known as the STAR market, on Aug 9.

This is the first such listing so far this year in the district. The company became the eighth in the district and the 13th in Wuxi to be listed on the STAR market.

Wuxi Taclink Optoelectronic Technology Co Ltd was established in WND in 2000. It focuses on the R&D and production of optical transceiver modules, optical amplifiers and optical transmission subsystems. As a professional supplier with active devices and transmission subsystems in optical communication systems, the company has the top two domestic market shares in the field of optical amplification.

In 2021, Taclink Optoelectronics Technology earned revenue of 718 million yuan ($106.6 million) and generated tax revenue of 32.98 million yuan. With a strong ability to innovate and invent, it has obtained 116 authorized patents and 18 software copyrights. It also won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Awards and was selected as the "Taihu Talents" entrepreneurial team project in Wuxi last year.
