13 WND enterprises win national honor

The fourth group of National Specialized, Fined, Peculiar and Innovative Little Giant Enterprises and the first group of Specialized, Fined, Peculiar and Innovative Little Giant Enterprises that have passed review were recently revealed by the Industrial and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.

A total of 13 companies based in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District were among them, accounting for 23 percent of the city's total and ranking first in all sectors of the city. 

At present, WND is home to a total of 202 Specialized, Fined, Peculiar and Innovative Little Giant Enterprises of various types above the municipal level, among which 19 are national-level and 12 are listed on the market.

In recent years, the WND has taken steady steps to cultivate a gradient system of technology-based SMEs, little giants, individual champion enterprises, and industrial chain leading enterprises. Assorted businesses in the WND have been credited as little giants above the municipal level more than 200 times, among which 19 have gained that status at the national level, and 12 have been listed.
