WND hosts 2022 Huihaiwan Intelligent Sensing Summit

The 2022 Huihaiwan Intelligent Sensing Summit was held in Wuxi National Hi-tech District on Nov 25.

The summit, one of the main events of this year's Wuxi Internet of Things Exposition, is expected to promote the accelerated formation of a high-quality ecological circle in the field of intelligent sensing, and will also provide a better environment for the development of the IoT industry in WND and Wuxi as a whole.

During the summit, expats were invited to give speeches on the construction of an intelligent sensing ecosystem, analysis of application scenarios, and the latest achievements and development trends in intelligent sensing. The Yangtze River Delta Sense-Storage-Computing Integration Innovation Center was launched as well.

The annual report on the development of China's IoT industry (2021-22) was released, which also promoted the innovative industrial cluster of intelligent sensing systems in WND.

With a total investment of about 2 billion yuan ($286.5 million), a total of 30 key IoT projects to be carried out in WND were signed into effect.

The Huihaiwan summit, first held in 2016, has gradually developed into a professional activity platform for the city to expand exchange and cooperation in the field of IoT.

In 2009, Wuxi National Hi-tech District was approved as the country's only national sensor network innovation demonstration zone. Since then, WND has been pioneering the development and application of IoT-related technologies. The total revenue of the district's IoT industry has now exceeded 230 billion yuan, accounting for about 10 percent that of the country's total, making it "China's top IoT development zone".
