From April 24 to 26, a delegation from Wuxi National Hi-Tech District visited Singapore to connect with top global companies and enhance collaborations in technology and innovation.

Singapore, known for its high level of openness and cutting-edge innovations, has convinced a growing number of companies from the district, which is also known as Wuxi New District, to invest there. During this visit, agreements for several new projects were signed across various sectors, including manufacturing, finance, and sales. Notable agreements include NCE Power's semiconductor technology R&D center and global sales center and Autowell's Singapore trading company, marking successful ventures for WND enterprises seeking overseas expansion.

On April 25, the WND-Sembcorp investment promotion conference was held. WND's collaboration with Sembcorp, a Singaporean energy and urban development company, dates back to 1993, with the establishment of the Wuxi Singapore Industrial Park, the first industrial park developed by Singapore in the Chinese mainland.

In 2022, WND reorganized its Wangzhuang sub-district and the Wuxi Singapore Industrial Park to form the Wuxi Singapore Sci-Tech Innovation City, expanding the original 3.5-square-kilometer area to 43 square kilometers. To date, the sci-tech innovation city has attracted 677 large-scale enterprises, including 33 Fortune Global 500 companies.
