The latest Q2 2025 global AR/VR market report from IDC shows that Xreal, a Wuxi National Hi-Tech District (WND) company, experienced a 113.7 percent increase in shipments year-on-year and ranked second in the global AR+VR market after Meta.
The company has maintained its position as the world's best-selling consumer AR glasses brand for four straight years. By June 30, Xreal's total shipments exceeded 700,000 units.
Xreal's momentum is driven by concurrent growth in key markets. It secured the top position in North America with a 43.9 percent market share. The release of its new flagship, One Pro, increased sales, strengthening its position in the premium consumer segment and making gains in Meta and Apple's home markets.

Thanks to design enhancements, greater comfort, and proprietary chip and optical technologies, the device far surpassed competitors in performance, efficiency, and display quality.
In Europe, Xread holds a 39.4 percent market share. Ongoing innovation and high consumer trust have helped Xreal cement its leadership, turning a competitive advantage into a broadly acknowledged market consensus.
Xreal also leads in Japan and South Korea, is second in China by shipment volume, but ranks first in sales revenue.
Xreal's international reputation is expanding. Recently, the company was listed among Fortune's "50 Most Influential Tech Companies in China", marking the first time an AR glasses company has been included.
Xreal's growth is closely linked to WND. In 2020, the company agreed to set up its first optical module R&D and mass production facility in the district, enabling large-scale consumer AR manufacturing. By harnessing Wuxi's robust industrial base, Xreal has developed comprehensive spatial computing capabilities.
