The China-Europe Industrial Innovation Zone (Meicun sub-district) in Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, or WND, signed a cooperation agreement with Sanshisanke in Frankfurt, Germany on Sept 15.
As the core hub for Wuxi's trade and economic cooperation with Europe, the innovation zone is joining hands with Sanshisanke to tap into European markets and meet upgraded consumption demands in China.
On the overseas front, the two sides will develop a specialized Sino-German product exhibition and sales platform. This platform will help quality Chinese products enter Europe, while also offering one-stop services for European businesses to access the Chinese market.
In China, the innovation zone will provide full support to Sanshisanke. Plans include opening Wuxi's first 700-square-meter cross-border duty-free store, featuring high-demand categories such as cosmetics, personal care, and health products, enriching local consumption choices.
At the same time, Sanshisanke will be encouraged to leverage local resources such as all-cargo flights to Europe at Shuofang International Airport and preferential policies from WND's Comprehensive Bonded Area, paving the way for the establishment of its Jiangsu headquarters. The headquarters is also expected to help more local enterprises expand into overseas markets.
The Wuxi Beauty and Health Industry Park Industrial Cooperation, Exhibition, and Exchange Center was launched the same day in Frankfurt.
