WND has actively expanded cooperation with Brazil in recent years. In 2024, its trade with Brazil was valued at $336 million, accounting for more than a quarter of Wuxi's total trade with the country and marking a year-on-year increase of 36.6 percent. This strong growth underscores the vitality and potential of bilateral economic cooperation.
Several enterprises from WND have become notable examples of China-Brazil cooperation, showcasing their technological strengths and forward-looking strategies.
Goldwind, a global wind power leader, is supporting Brazil's energy transition by providing wind power equipment and solutions. Boton Technology is expanding into Brazil's industrial upgrading and digital economy sectors with expertise in intelligent industrial logistics and mobile game publishing. Meanwhile, Little Swan, a leading washing machine manufacturer, achieved $27.3 million in trade with Brazil last year.
Earlier this year, WND sent a delegation to Brazil for trade and economic exchanges, engaging in matchmaking sessions and visiting key enterprises and industry associations. These efforts have laid a solid foundation for long-term bilateral cooperation, creating pragmatic platforms for mutual benefit.
China-Brazil Innovation Day was hosted by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the embassy of Brazil in China, and the Brazilian Association of Science Parks and Business Incubators (Anprotec).
It brought together government officials, representatives of science and technology parks, universities, incubators, and enterprises from both countries to explore cooperation in innovation and industrial collaboration.
