An education and cultural exchange event was held in Meicun, Xinwu district, Wuxi on Sept 15. A 16-member delegation of teachers and students from the University of Cambridge and the University of Otago experienced the rich history and vibrant educational atmosphere of Meicun.
The tour began at the Meili Site Museum, where ancient artifacts and valuable historical materials showcased Meicun's long history. The exhibits offered the foreign guests an immersive introduction to Chinese civilization and the unique charm of local culture.
The delegation then visited Meicun Experimental Middle School, where lively discussions took place between Chinese and foreign students. They shared their learning experiences and cultural perspectives, fostering mutual understanding and friendship.
The exchange continued at Jiangsu Meicun Senior High School. In the school's science exhibition hall, the visitors observed cutting-edge technologies such as 3D printing and witnessed how innovation is being integrated into education. The delegation praised the school's efforts in cultivating students' scientific literacy and creativity.

The event not only deepened international participants' understanding of Chinese culture and education but also built bridges for future cooperation between schools in Wuxi and world-renowned universities.
