The WND OPC (One Person Company) Community was launched on Dec 8 in the Wuxi Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park, marking a new step forward in supporting AI-enabled individual entrepreneurship.
Two pilot spaces — the Magic Cube Space and the Nuancun Digital Nomad Village — were unveiled at the event.
OPC refers to a new form of entrepreneurship in which individual founders, empowered by artificial intelligence, are able to independently complete the entire business chain. With the support of AI tools, a single entrepreneur can operate like a virtual team, handling tasks that would traditionally require multiple roles.
The Wuxi Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park, also known as Phases V and VI of Wuxi (National) Software Park, is the city's first specialized park dedicated to artificial intelligence. Its public technology platform has already brought together 50 AI-powered solutions for the manufacturing sector.
The Magic Cube Space is built on computing power resulting from the collaboration between iFlytek and Wuxi. It serves as an ecosystem for showcasing technological achievements, promoting applications and attracting investment. By leveraging the park's public technology platform, the space is designed to accelerate the aggregation and growth of OPC startup projects.
The Nuancun Digital Nomad Village takes advantage of its scenic natural surroundings and classic Jiangnan-style residential layout. It features a digital nomad service center, shared workspaces and apartments, forming a multifunctional complex that offers comprehensive services.
At the launch event, agreements were signed on a number of projects set to be built in the OPC community, including an intelligent driving navigation module powered by multi-scale environmental perception and deep learning.
WND will focus on improving service mechanisms for OPC startups. It will also provide project teams with access to computing power and data resources. Local manufacturing enterprises will be encouraged to open up industry scenarios for validation, offering OPC projects real-world testing environments.
