The 2026 Semiconductor Investment Annual Conference and IC Top Award Ceremony was held on Dec 20 in Shanghai, where the list of Top 30 Integrated Circuit Parks in China was released.
Wuxi National Hi-Tech District, also known as WND, ranked second in the nation, just behind Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, marking the fourth consecutive year the zone has earned this honor. WND was also named "Best IC Park of the Year" for the second time.
The Semiconductor Investment Annual Conference, launched in 2019, has become a key platform for showcasing China's semiconductor industry achievements, gathering government agencies, industrial parks, and investors to discuss trends and future opportunities. This year's event focused on the applications, technological breakthroughs, and prospects of AI, particularly large models, in the semiconductor sector.
The "Best IC Park of the Year" award recognizes parks that achieved outstanding IC output value in 2025, consistently attracted high-quality enterprises, and actively worked to build and improve the full industry chain.
The IC Top Awards also featured three major categories covering fields such as investment, listed companies, market, AI, embodied intelligence, intellectual property, and automotives. Several WND enterprises were recognized for their outstanding performance, including Etek, Chipown, and Gigalane.
