  • A cooperation event on technology commercialization between Xiamen University and Wuxi was held on June 3. By combining their strengths and sharing resources, the two sides are working to speed up the journey from lab research to real-world applications, aligning scientific achievements with industry needs and boosting innovation-driven growth.

  • France's Aden Group launched two projects in Wuxi on June 3: its China headquarters for industrial REITs and an innovation platform focused on embodied AI and robotics. Following the launch of the Schneider Electric (Wuxi) Green Smart Industrial Park earlier this year, Aden is deepening its commitment to the city's innovation-driven future.

  • Senior executives from Qualcomm visited Wuxi on June 4 for discussions on deepening cooperation across a range of industries. Over the years, Qualcomm has continued to grow in Wuxi, leveraging the city's strong industrial chain to expand its footprint in RF chips and 5G applications. Both sides will further explore opportunities in IoT and intelligent connected vehicles to drive more innovation and shared growth.

  • WND marked the 10th National Science and Technology Workers' Day on May 30 with the launch of a Sci-Tech, Industry and Talent Integrated Development Conference and the Sci-Tech Talent Service Week. The initiatives focus on strengthening the link between innovation, industry, and talent, and advance the district's goal of developing a world-class high-tech park.

  • Music, culture, shopping and lifestyle – all in one place. With nearly 70 brands on board and more than half making their first appearance in Jiangsu, Wuxi or the region, Mland in WND Mland opened on May 30. It adds a new landmark to the city's cultural scene and is set to become a go-to destination for entertainment, dining and discovery.

  • TW Precision Machinery signed an agreement for its new embodied intelligence core components industrialization project on May 29 in WND. The project features a production base, further expanding the company's presence in the embodied intelligence sector. It is also expected to inject new momentum into WND's fast-growing robotics ecosystem.

  • WND officials visited schools and kindergartens on June 1 to celebrate Children's Day and extend warm wishes to children. They encouraged young students to grow into diligent, well-rounded talents, and emphasized the importance of creating a supportive environment for the healthy development of children.

  • WND and Guolian Group held a project matchmaking event on May 29, reaching new cooperation intentions and pledging to strengthen collaboration and support real-economy growth with financial resources.

  • WND officials visited Xuntang Ancient Town and Zhouxinli to review operations and investment progress on the evening of May 29. The visit focused on exploring ways to better integrate culture, commerce, and tourism, while also boosting the night-time economy and revitalizing historic blocks.

  • WND officials conducted a field inspection  of local enterprises and river sections on June 4, to review safety production measures and flood prevention preparations. As summer brings combined risks of heatwaves and heavy rainstorms, the district has stepped up efforts to strengthen its seasonal safety protection system.

  • Construction of AMTE's headquarters has achieved a key milestone with the topping out of its R&D and office building. The project is now moving into the next phase, including cleanroom interior works and MEP installation, ahead of full completion in 2027.

  • One year after opening, Jiangnan Beauty Bay in WND has attracted 92 enterprises, reached over 85 percent occupancy, and generated over 3 billion yuan ($443.18 million) in annual revenue, with strong tax efficiency of more than 5 million yuan per mu (666.67 square meters).

  • How can AI make science more engaging for students? WND is helping answer that question. Its innovative AI-powered science education model has earned national recognition, marking another step forward in bringing cutting-edge technology into classrooms and inspiring the next generation of innovators.

  • The west zone of MixC Wuxi will open on June 26. Developed by Taihu New City Group and operated in cooperation with China Resources MixC Lifestyle, it will join the east zone to form the largest MixC complex in Jiangsu province, marking a significant upgrade to Wuxi's commercial landscape.

  • WND is set to welcome a new waterfront landmark along the Tangming River. The newly released plan highlights an eco-friendly, culturally inspired riverside space that will enhance urban life in Hongshan.

  • A new free medical shuttle service has been launched in WND, departing at 8:10 am and connecting multiple areas directly to Ruijin Hospital Wuxi Branch, offering greater convenience and on-site guidance for patients in need.
