Another boost to WND's semiconductor system! Japan's TGG signed an agreement on Aug 12 to establish a headquarters in the zone focusing on wafer inspection, cleaning and grinding equipment. The headquarters will integrate R&D, production, and sales and plans to prepare for an IPO in 2029. TGG specializes in semiconductor equipment including fully automated wafer probe stations, cleaning machines, grinding equipment and metrology and inspection equipment.
Yoozoo Games, Sunrise, and Kowin Technology signed an agreement to build a 2.5D/3D advanced packaging center in WND on Aug 12. The center will be developed in three phases. Once fully completed, it is expected to incorporate key technologies such as bumping, water level chip scale packaging, fan-out packaging, and 2.5D/3D heterogeneous integration.
Senior executives from Sembcorp Development visited WND on Aug 12 for talks on the development of the Wuxi-Singapore Sci-Tech Innovation City.
