A devastating mudslide struck Gyirong county in Shigatse, Southwest China's Xizang autonomous region, on Aug 26. WND-based commercial satellite company MinoSpace responded swiftly, deploying its Dongpo satellite constellation for imaging of the affected areas. Dongpo-17 and Dongpo-19 were both produced on MinoSpace's production line in WND.

Wuxi Symphony Orchestra has wrapped up its 2026 European tour on a high note! From Aug 18 to 27, the three-year-old city orchestra took the stage at four major music festivals, introducing audiences in the heartland of classical music to a new voice from Taihu Lake. With artistry and passion, the orchestra won acclaim from audiences and industry professionals, showcasing Wuxi's growing stature as a UNESCO City of Music.

A new dedicated bus route serving the China Industrial Expo Park area began trial operations on Aug 28. Jointly launched by Jiangxi subdistrict and WND Public Transport, the route connects residents with key destinations and brings more convenience to everyday travel.
