Wuxi-Vientiane direct flights to resume in October

Direct flights between Wuxi and Vientiane, Laos, will resume from Oct 9, reconnecting the two cities with three flights a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Flights from Wuxi Shuofang International Airport to Vientiane depart at 11:20 and arrive at 14:00. The return flight leaves Vientiane at 15:00 and arrives in Wuxi at 19:25.

According to a marketing executive at 9 Air, the airline first launched the route last year but suspended it due to rising fuel costs. As fuel prices have now declined and with the peak travel season approaching winter-spring, along with increasing trade connections between the Yangtze River Delta and Laos, the airline has chosen to restart the route.
